I grew up in the painting and remodeling business, learning the trade alongside my father. That foundation shaped the way we work today — with the same care and attention to detail he taught me.
For more than six years, I worked with Built Green Custom Homes, painting custom homes from the ground up. For the past four years, I’ve worked with Mayland Construction, handling full residential renovations throughout The Woodlands area. That experience taught me what it takes to deliver quality work on time and build real relationships with the people I work for.

How a custom home project runs
Walkthrough & Scope
Before we quote anything, we walk the site with the builder or homeowner to review the plans, finish schedule, and any spec sheets already in place. We note substrate types, ceiling heights, exterior materials, and anything that affects sequencing, so the estimate reflects the real job.
Written Estimate & Scheduling
We provide a detailed written estimate broken out by area and scope, along with a proposed start date that fits around framing, drywall, and the other trades on site. Once approved, we confirm a firm schedule and keep you updated as the date approaches.
Prep & Protection
Floors, fixtures, cabinetry, and any finished surfaces get covered before a single can of paint opens. We caulk every joint and seam in the woodwork, putty and fill all nail holes, and mask off anything that isn't being painted.
Priming & Painting
Surfaces are primed first, then we do a second prep pass — smoothing and filling with Bondo and wood filler where needed — for a truly quality finish before two full coats of paint go on for even, lasting coverage. We paint with Sherwin-Williams as our standard, with Benjamin Moore colors available if a client prefers them.
Final Walkthrough & Punch List
Before we call a job complete, we walk every room with the builder or homeowner and note anything that needs touch-up. Punch list items get handled promptly, and we don't consider the job finished until everyone signs off.

We walk the space with you to talk through what's changing — cabinets, layout, materials, and finish colors — and note anything that needs repair before finish work can start.
Detailed Proposal
You'll get a written proposal that breaks out labor and materials by room or area, along with a realistic timeline. We're upfront about what's included versus what would be a change order.
Trade Coordination & Prep
We coordinate with your cabinet installer, countertop crew, and any other trades so our part lands at the right point in the sequence, and floors, appliances, and fixtures get protected before we start.
Cabinetry & Wall Finishes
New and existing cabinets get sprayed or hand-painted with a durable, cabinet-grade finish, and walls, ceilings, and trim are painted to match. We caulk every joint and seam, putty all nail holes, and follow primer with a second prep pass using Bondo and wood filler before applying two full coats of paint for a smooth, quality finish. Final Detailing & Walkthrough
We handle touch-ups around hardware and fixtures installed by other trades, then walk the space with you room by room. Nothing gets marked complete until you've had a chance to look closely.

How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope. A single-room repaint might take a day or two, while a full kitchen remodel or a new-construction home can take several weeks. We give you a realistic timeline as part of your written estimate, and we'll update you if anything changes once work is underway.
Do I need to move my furniture?
For interior work, we ask that small items and valuables be cleared from the work area ahead of time. We handle moving and protecting larger furniture ourselves, along with covering floors and fixtures, as part of our standard prep on every job.

We walk the space with you, talk through scope and any color or finish questions, and follow up with a detailed written quote broken out by area. There's no obligation and no pressure to book on the spot.
